Red Lion Hotel Redding

The room we had included a patio, a heating system and a chair. It was next to Redding on many occasions over the years, common areas and restsurants and shopping areas, great and decent location overall...

Had a very good stay on road trip. The hotel had a central location near to everything. What's more, it was very close to good restaurants and shopping areas, and a baseball tournament😀

Some parts shine, others fall flat

Enjoyed the spacious Superior Queen Room with a nice view. Great location and a secure layout.

Housekeeping needs improvement. The bathrooms weren't pristine, and noisy surroundings disrupted my sleep.

Very nice and clean. Great pool and comfortable loungers. Good restaurant and bar.

The nearby motorway is clearly heard.

Loved Redding, the hotel was top rated near everything. Units with 2 queen beds. The property had handy location very close to restaurants and Redding and west coast. Bakery Manhattan Bagel located 1 mi away was a nice surprise.

in the inner courtyard an event took place directly under our balcony.

Had a blast , especially enjoying breakfast with delicious options and the fun swimming pool despite the rain! The jacuzzi was a perfect way to unwind after a long day, although the bathroom could use some updates. We loved it here, just make sure to check the room amenities in advance 😊

Its location within a close distance from The Stirring was marvellous. The area was fairly nice, an excellant base for me.

Reception at the restaurant and breakfast

The very unsympathetic reception of the desk staff... The dubious cleanliness, cockroaches in the bathroom. The wifi not very stable

The rooms weresuper clean and cozy, and we appreciated the nice bath amenities. Make sure to check if breakfast is included in your stay.

Family with children mixed experience

The staff were pretty good too accommodate our request. For instance, when my dad wanted a specific suite that was closed off, they opened it for us instead of just saying no.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable given our needs.

Very large and well equipped room, I pointed out that our room was on the highway side, the person at the reception told me to ask in the courtyard next time and that I would be satisfied.

Our room was on the highway side, so noise all night long, the neighbors upstairs were noisy, like all hotels that boast a swimming pool, outside the summer season, it is best to avoid, they are not heated.

Enjoyed nearby hiking trails and Lake Shasta. The pool area was nice, and the staff was friendly. Just a heads up. The hotel is undergoing some updates, but it's still comfortable for a fun getaway. I recommend checking out local golf courses, too!

The food wasn't up to par at all, with some items even being undercooked, which left a bad impression.

Breakfast at a very affordable cost

They don't change the sheets of the previous guest, even though I went to complain to the reception.
